Bicycle Maintenance 101

Class Description

In this class, we will walk through what to check before you go for a ride to ensure you are safe and your bicycle is properly adjusted. You will also learn how to effectively and efficiently replace an inner tube on your bicycle wheel. In some cases, patching a hole in your tube is the only option. This class will cover how to patch a tube. Our instructor will demonstrate this foundational bicycle maintenance skill and then you will get to practice it yourself. Around this skill come questions such as how to find out which tube size you need for your bicycle, what type of air valve types there are, and what is the best air pump to use for your application. We will address all of these topics and this session will include an open Q&A format as well. You'll walk away with the confidence to repair your own flat tire and enjoy your next bike ride!
